My fellow Minnesotans, I humbly ask for your support in my race to be the next Governor of Minnesota through which all our dreams and aspirations for a more excellent and people driven government will be born.  This will be the year where vision and passion will replace the politics of division and distraction.  I run this race with the understanding that life is about people and that people are everything. 

As you are all aware, the State of Minnesota is facing many challenges, the biggest of which is our $7 billion dollar deficit. I intend on working with all of you to eliminate this deficit in other to preserve that which has made Minnesota great for future generations.  With wisdom and the right leadership this particular challenge can be overcome and reduced to history's little bump. 

I am committed to ensuring that the wellbeing of all Minnesotans will be front and center in my quest to be your next Governor.  To that effect, my campaign for Governor will be anchored on two strong pillars: Righteousness and Justice.  I will work with both republicans and democrats to move our state forward and in the right direction.  The deception that one party has the answers to all our problems is a lie that needs to be unraveled.  We need each other more than ever before to accomplish more for Minnesota. We must muster the courage to deal with this issue head on without dividing our state.

Join me in advocating a new generation of politics that will speak out with boldness on the 'real issues' that affect us all.  We must abandon immediately the politics of indifference and smoke screen agenda's that masquerade themselves as real solutions but instead have undermined the interest of the people of the state  Let's change that together.  I believe we can do better.

I am irrevocably committed to include your voice in my campaign that will breathe and give life to new ideas on the issues of economic security, speak out about preventive medicine and cost containment, a critical component in reforming health care. Together, we will deal with the growing spirit of lawlessness among our youth, reforming our education system that prepares our children for the 21st century economy, more rail verses the building of more roads through out the state.  Finally and equally important, I will call for a new manufacturing base for Minnesota centered on environmental technology and renewable energy that as one former President said, “could create a trillion dollar economy in the United States.”

I humbly ask for your support in this race for Governor for the State of Minnesota.   Prayerfully consider going to the DFL Caucus and advocate for this campaign.  Fellow Minnesotans, your strong financial and moral support will be invaluable and treasured.  They are tied together and inseparable. If elected, I will be a true servant for the people.  I run this race knowing fully well that the role of an elected official should be one of servitude, indeed a servant of the people.  Etched in my heart are the words of a great teacher who once said, “The greatest among you must be a servant first”
